However, in the past ten days he hadn’t been feeling well. An ultrasound revealed that his Leukemia had spread to Lymphoma. Three veterinarians including Dr. Rossi from MA suggested that we put Socks to sleep since he had 3-6 months max to live and to avoid ...

College Station, Texas, United States socksLeft Arlington, TX early in the morning. Heavy rain predicted later on in the morning, definitely wanted to leave before the rain. Ran into rain anyway so it took longer than usual. Texas received heavy rain the past 2 weeks that caused severe flooding in the Dallas / Houston area, of course this is where we are .
College Station, Texas, United States socksI guess this was the main reason I came back at this time for vacation. On the plus side - got to see the whole family in one place over a couple of days.

Outside of having to dress up in a tux, it was a good time. And my rental car even got into the wedding.
Bryan, Texas, United States nahury1Made a quick stop by the Traveling Aggies office to make sure everything was taken care of for my Peru / Machu Picchu vacation next year. College Station, Texas, United States nahury1Met up with another high school friend living in College Station. Conveniently, his kids were playing flag football at the same time as my brother's step-son.

Then off to the hotel. My suite on the top floor, right next to the Hilton emblem.
College Station, Texas, United States nahury1This year I only get to make one football game from Scotland. The Aggies are playing Oklahoma State. Krista is able to make her annual game as well. Not sure if the win streak will continue - every game she has gone to over the years, the Aggies have won.

Update - well, the streak is over. Wasn't as close as the final score. But it was a good day out, even if the weather wasn't as nice as forecasted.
College Station, Texas, United States nahury1... We each had the honoree's name pinned to the back of our shirt. The honoree was either a donor or a recipient of donation of some sort.
When we arrived at LifeGift they had snacks for us after the challenging 1.5 miles we rode from the hotel. We mingled and met our honorees. We then went inside were everyone was introduced, including the local people who had helped organize the event. Each rider had a ...
College Station, Texas, United States cindysellsjohns... so good! Next we drove around a bit to get a look at the town. Justin's dad told us to check out 6th street, so we did and it is very cool. Has a great vibe to it. The South by Southwest film fesitval is in town this weekend too, so there are a lot of people downtown. After that we wanted to grab some dessert, so we hit a local bakery just before closing time. The baked goods we picked up were very tasty, but the clerk proved to be the best part. He told us some areas ...
