... Very pretty to look at, but the best was that it turned out that my guide for the village knew the dude that was riding me on his bike yesterday!! I guess he started liking me, because at some point he brought me to some friends places where we had tea, banana chips, lunch and we ended up ust spending the day talking about life. Last, we passed the wedding preparation of another friend where people offered me food that was intended for the next day's party and made me ...

One of the guys in the guesthouse had invited us to join a day tour to some of the sights in the south of the city but after a bit of research we established we could do that, or the volcano in the north much cheaper ourselves. On our far left was another group that ...

... Jalan Asia Afrika, one of the oldest roads in the city dating back to the Dutch colony. We even got to see the oldest bridge, where the waterways were introduced by the Dutch. Sean was a great tourguide and told us nifty history tidbits about the names for certain things. One of the most important roads was named for the white rhinos that were decimated when the jungle was cut away for land developments. According to Sean, the 'Ci' that's part of many of the names for ...

... if we notice any difference after some rainy days then we'll call in the school workers to deal with it.

Rainy season has it's plus sides, but we're getting the good and the bad.

    - cooler weather
    - cleaner looking outdoors
    - huge thunder storms that rumble and crack like the Wrath of God (awesome!)

    THE BAD:
    - influx of bugs making an exodus for shelter
    - sewage smell
    - discovery of leaking things
    - difficult to dry ...
