          Lovable Staying

I was staying at a great hotel. I've booked executive room with free access executive lounge. The room was so big and clean, lovable swimming pool and nice staff. This hotel is near airport and railway station, so it would convenience to travel outside Bandung. Though a bit traffic through here. About the executive lounge, I love it. Located on 11th floor where you could see a nice city view during your informal meeting or just enjoying the snack. They provide some delicious cakes and beverages.

Today has been a loooong day in the field. We checked out of the hotel at 7:30, as our flight was at 10:15 and thought we'd better beat the traffic.... needn't have worried, the flight was delayed by an hour. Oh well never mind. The worst part of it was getting into the taxi from the hotel, imagine my horror when we got in, after loading all our …

Well, I was going to Bandung with my family for celebrating my birthday. We live in Jakarta. So we just made it as a weekend short escape. We were driving from Jakarta to Bandung and we caught a lot of traffic, on the highway though. When you jammed at the traffic, you would heard everybody press their car's honk. But please stay on your mind. …

... s from here. There were several minivans parked here also. They were full of tourists on a package tour. I got chatting with one of the drivers and when i mentioned i was heading to the hot springs next, he said for me to wait 10 minutes, so his customers could finish looking around the tea fields and then to follow him, as his tour was heading there next. Aside from the massively cheaper costs involved in hiring your own bike and travelling to these places under your own ...

... food twice a day for the last 5 days, I was pretty rice and noodles out, so just had dessert! This turned out to be an interesting experience - i was presented with a bowl full of crushed ice, green tea ice-cream, milk, tapioca balls, some kind of sweet red kidney beans and what tasted like slices of panna cotta. It was an odd combination, but actually didn't taste too bad!

          So, what now?

The Saturday of Kyle's birthday was indeed an exciting one, as it was the first time we would be taking in a local soccer match. The Bandung team is known as PERSIB and their mascot logo is a Viking (pronounded vee-king). PERSIB just means a whole lot of unity stuff since they merged a few teams together to make it what it is now. Despite being warned profusely many times on our safety, we still went through with it. Thankfully, we took Oki as our driver and Jojo one of ...
