... and the low hanging cloud made them look really eerie. Hoping to get the public transport back we waited by the park entrance until one of the minibuses came tearing by - fortunately the one we flagged down wasn't full and was better equipped than the first! Unfortunately it didn't take us to where we wanted to go so after having been dropped off half way there, we needed to jump on another one. Our route back in to Bandung took us past what we could only presume ...

... Waiting outside the terminal was another private guide who drove us through massive, disorganized traffic for a rendezvous with our excursion party at the Temple of Borobudur. In true Indiana Jones fashion, this mysterious monument built in ~750 AD, laid hidden for over 1000 years until discovered by Sir Samford Raffles. Included in the tour was a very nice Indonesian rijstafel buffet with many ...

... to the menu. There ended up being 3-4 guys just working together to get this done. From what I heard from Alice and Kyle (aka silence) the food was good, though the bread could've been toasted or at least a serrated knife provided.

As always though, Porto delivered a delicious meal that was an absolute experience in and of itself. Thankfully, food and dining is one of the big features of Bandung...so it's easy for us to have a good time.

... to ETC (restaurant) first. ETC was suggested to us by a friend, and we thought it would be great to have some actual dinner before going into the bar.

The restaurant was absolutely fantastic, and it was fun to have the boys wearing their viking helmets. We sat outside, but still got a few stares and some adults were legit giggling.

After food and convo, we walked across the street to Camden where we met up with the rest of the guys that would be celebrating with us.
