Yikes! NO Bombay Sapphire - NO Bombay gin - NO blue cheese stuffed olives - NO, we had never before paid $15 for a Beefeater martini! But they were good drinks and the room was very comfortable.

Oir very best first marriage anniversary stay, and ample fun
We were planning to spend home away first marriage anniversary in a plush hotel with good amenities. We booked our stay thru priceline (after getting an idear of price going thru biddingfortravel) for forty odd bucks. When we went to front desk, we mentioned our purpose of trip, and requested if they will be able to make our stay more pleasant for our memorable occation. They immediately put us on 17th floor for wonderful views, and also gave // FREE // access to executive-lounge, which had free snacks, soft drinkgs, and 42" flat-screen LCD/plasma TV in that room. Extremely well appointed dining, silver-ware, and amenitied in that lounge. Also, this executive lounge featured // FREE // continental break-fast with fresh cut fruits as well. Then we requested if we could access the health-club, and the front-desk folks were very friendly, and threw in that //free// as well ($6 fee normally). Overall, we very much appreciate Hilton for its generosity, and its plush treatment of its guests. We certainly would like to stay at this facility again, and //STRONGLY// recommend to others as well.
I must give this hotel a 5! Right from the moment we climbed aboard the hotel shuttle from the airport, we were impressed with the quality and service provided by the Hilton Atlanta Airport. Our first impression when entering the lobby was top-notch and check-in couldn't have been simplier. We reserved and paid for our stay through ------ (Net Direct) and saved tremendously ($79 per night, taxes included) and our room was just what we requested (two beds, non-smoking). We were in Atlanta to attend the NASCAR events at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We were at the track in no-time and without getting lost! The only disappointment was the cost of meals at the 3 restaurants within the hotel -- but we expected that. I would definately stay here again.
Nice two night stay
Two night stay March 18-20. Hotel has excellent airport location.
Rooms clean, beds very comfortable. High marks to the employees at the
hotel. Very friendly and went out of their way to make stay pleasant.
Outstanding shuttle service to and from airport and the Marta location at the airport if you have no car. Had business one morning at the near by convention center and was planning to take taxi, but Johnny at the concerige desk had the shuttle bus take us and pick us up. Krespy Cream
donuts 2 for a buck after 6pm. One area that could use some improvement was the breakfast buffet for 14 bucks. Would have been better to order off menu or room service for that price. Would I stay there again, yes.
Pleasant, clean, upscale
We stayed here March 12, 2005 for one night and were very pleased. The room was spacious and clean and there were a variety of restaurants to choose from. We had dinner and drinks at the sports bar underneath the hotel; the food was fine, the atmosphere was nice and the waiter and bartender were both very friendly. We were happy with the one night we spent at the Hilton Atlanta Airport.
Nice place to stay, clean and comfy good a/c. I need fragrance free rooms and called hotel and houskeeping directly 2 days before and they got it right!
That is not always the case. Food however was poor, particularly the buffet which was actually cold. Waiters borderline helpful.
Very good hotel
I have stayed here many times and have nothing but postive reviews. The hotel is modern and beautifully appointed. Best of all is the outstanding staff that will try to accomodate any request. I am a cheese nut and asked room service for a cheese tray to snack on. It was not on the menu, but the chef made up a beautiful cheese tray with several delicious cheeses for only $20. The hotel is on Virginia Ave. -- close to the great airport-area restaurant/bar called "Spondivits."
Great hotel near the airport
I stayed at the Hilton Atlanta Airport on business in November 2004. It seems to be a fairly new hotel. Great location near the airport (only about an 8-minute free shuttle ride away). Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and spacious. High-speed wireless internet available in the room for $10 (for a 24-hour period). If you need to head downtown (and don't have a car), the closest MARTA station is at the airport. The hotel shuttle can bring you there. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was pretty good (buffet style). I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Perfect Honeymoon before Honeymoon
We stayed here directly after our wedding on the 16th of October for one day before our flight to Jamaica the next morning. We got the Romance package for $149 and stayed in a Jr. Suite on the 14th floor. With exception to the beach, this room was much better than the 6 Star resort's room we stayed in for our actual honeymoon, and that room was very nice also. We got the cider with chocolate covered strawberries and free breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was extravagent!!! Buffet style, they had every thing and everything was delicious (5 Star Quality). This hotel was perfect and we definetly will come again!!!!
Great location, Nice Hotel
Stayed at this hotel in August 2003: in a great location, far enough from the airport and still in the heart of the city. Lucked out and got a room with a perfect downtown view. Staff were all very corteous and helpful - rooms are clean, comfortablestandard Hilton fare. Would recommend.
Classy but still Hotlanta Charm
excellent location. near the airport far enough away from the nightly action on Peachtree but close enough to keep you connected with ATL nightlife. the staff were all very friendly and professional.

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...
... disappointed faces. I instantly met a group of 4 ladies. 2 sisters (Lisa and Monique) and their friend (Thres), all from Canada, and one Aussie (Cass). I went straight for a cold beer before boarding the boat, but I could tell they were going to be a fun clique to go to sea with for a couple of nights. Was I right as ever. I'm honored to have met all of them. We all boarded the boat and quickly became friends- along with Hattie (or Shatty...or Harriet when she's a CEO) from England. ...

Atlanta is a relatively young city or at least it's relatively new as a large city, so quite a lot of its place in history was in the post-WWII era and much even during my lifetime. Saturday was my Democrats day in Atlanta, visiting both the Jimmy Carter Presidential Center and the Martin Luther King National Historic Site plus a few other sites that don’t go very far back in time.
The MLK site is interesting, but I didn’t manage to ...

We head back to the car, grateful for air conditioning. We cross the city to the Fernabank Musuem of Natural History. Max is excited to take his picture with the dinosaur outside. We enter, expecting our Membership to the Boston Science Museum to be ...
