... dinner, but Tom and I got over it pretty quickly and Adalia was never into the idea of all you can eat pizza. We left and hit the dollar store next door, a whole store of $1 items. Tom was having fun browsing but the kids had hit the wall. I wanted to buy some supplies for Disney world the next day and get home, So we had a minor domestic in the store, bought some high sugar content "health" items and left. We all needed to get to bed, we had a big day ahead of us...DISNEY ...
... on Monday which is the theme park with only one rollercoaster- not quite what we were expecting! The different 'rides' were all really good though. There were sets from the Mummy, Terminator, Shrek, The Simpsons, Men in Black, ET, Transformers. A lot were 4D cinema pieces; they play a 3D film but the seats move, you get sprayed with water and in some there are live actors too. Others were sort of virtual reality rollercoasters- it plays a 3D video in front of you on a screen ...
... but it seemed like one long parade of the same old thing after a while.
I made up t-shirts with Mickey on them that said, "Cheeseheads in the Mouse's House" for all of us to wear (thanks to my parent's friends who actually made the design). So yes, we were that dorky family with the matching shirts. Since we had to be done at 5pm, we went back to our rental home for dinner in and some pool time, and then an "early" bedtime, to catch up from all the late nights.
... it and we felt a bit giddy when we got off. After now finishing everything that Epcot had to offer we hopped on a boat from France that would take us to our final Disney park Hollywood Studios. Ollie had not visited here since he was a kid so he was looking forward to seeing what was new. We tried to go on the new Toy Story ride but it had a 2 hour wait and had already ran out of fast-track tickets. A little upset we settled for an old favourite in Star Tours, ...
... zone, which had a test drive area, where u made your own race car from Lego and tested it on tracks. Kid power towers, where Ben was by himself and struggled to get to the top, but made it eventually. It was close to closing time and still one coaster Matty and I wanted to do - the dragon in Lego kingdoms.
