We came to Camping World to get a repair done on our generator. Usually they are booked up for an eternity, but we camped overnight (free, I might add) at their facility and were second in line in the morning when they opened. Of course, they didn't find anything wrong and it ran for a couple of hours. They did change the oil and filter, which was something that needed to be done anyway. ...
The movers came first thing in the morning to pack up the boxes. They packed them into wooden crates because our stuff is being shipped to Alaska on a boat (which I find fascinating). Despite our abysmal trip through Alligator Alley we had a lovely drive as we headed north out of Florida. Once on the gulf coast Lew and I decided to stop at Siesta Key. The key is proudly adorned with signs proclaiming it the #1 Beach in the USA. It was quite beautiful, but none of the beaches were dog friendly. That leaves it's rankings far below the #1 ranking it boasts, but I'll post photos and allow you to decide for yourself.
