I'm so glad to hear you got to see your boyfriend David. He's one big hunk of lovely man stone. Nothing new here in Eagan. It's been raining a lot. It did make it to 80° for a couple days and we got to see the sun. This weekend is our nephew Nate's graduation party. Not a lot besides that. The animals are doing well and miss you. ...

... and Gray is a more subtle painting, but no less powerful as it captures the colors of fall.

But here is the strange thing that happened to me. I walked into the museum and headed into the first gallery. And I walked right past the Lichtenstein mural displayed prominently at the entrance. She was about two stories tall, and I walked right under her nose.

Today marks 2 weeks in the US for me this summer. So far I've been to Charleston with K, then we (or well she, since I don't drive, ta) drove up to her parents (+ rest of family) in Virginia. After that I went for a quick stop (less than 11 hours) in Knoxville, then a day in Nashville, then took the night bus up here to Minneapolis from where I am leaving today.

        • Tess is absolutely in love with the idea of hot towels before you eat. I told her she shouldn't get used to the idea unless she was prepared to do it for herself.
        • We were all done with Chinese food for a while, but I sure loved the way they cooked their broccoli and grean beans. I could have it that way every day. Yum!

... Minneapolis at 10:55 a.m. with a stop in Chicago before flying across the pond. If everything goes well with no delays I should reach London at 5:55 a.m. on Thursday morning. London is six hours ahead of Minneapolis so if anyone is reading this it will be 11:55 P.M. for you on Wednesday night when I land.

I'm hoping to update this blog often so I will be writing more after I reach :-) ...
