Yes the king is alive. At least most signs at the Elvis Presley Boulevard say so. Graceland is a tourist industry. Everything a tourist and Elvis fan needs you can get here. The tour to the house is US $31. Thats a lot of money to see some rooms, the carport and the grave. We also got to see his jet and his cars.
