Today was our first of three off days this entire summer. I naturally woke up at 5:15, went back to sleep and woke up pretty consistently every 30 minutes after that. We actually woke up at 8:30. Paddle Boat Tour

We took an hour and a half long paddle boat tour late in the afternoon. It was not a good as we expected. The paddle boat was nice and the guide had some interesting facts but in reality the Mississippi River is big and dirty and the sights along it were not that great. There were lots of creepy bugs so Olivia was wrenching my arm off every two minutes.

    Next stop Kansas City, MO.

He let me check out the BBQ pits. They were big! I had some ribs with some BBQ nachos. DELICIOUS! Then we left Tennesse ...

... ahead of us.....got to the restaurant and found them at the bar counter with their backs to us. Was there a message? Were we to sit on our own? But no, they joined us. Next, they decided that they could make me a fancy "high" ponytail, so they went to work on me. Then we walked to the Rock and Soul Museum. John and I had not visited there on our first trip…..and ...
