    We are finally here, long flight, not much sleep. Watched planet of the apes 2 and edge of tomorrow. Left the airport on the shuttle, it seemed like the airport went forever. The shuttle kept pulling into spaces to get more and more people. Moving out onto the road was just as crazy. Local pull ins and random driving all over the place.

    ... I went for waffles with syrup (who wouldn't want free waffles?!). After this, we got the 720 bus from down the road to Santa Monica bay for a day at the beach.
    $1.75 each way.

    ... for selecting Uber. The other big benefit of Uber is they are half, and sometimes less, than the cost of a taxi. Very convenient and cost effective. I can highly recommend using Uber. My Uber ride got me to Universal well ahead of time, even with the peak LA traffic. So first stop walking through Universal City Walk was somewhere for breakfast and a large coffee.     Spent a wonderful morning on a guided walk through the Daimtree Rain Forest. This rain forest is one of the oldest onthe world and is a world Heritage site.
