... for a classic po boy in a dive bar under the Interstate, visited Natchez to see some classic plantation buildings and up the Natchez Parkway Trail as the sun set. We're now in a very typical motel off the Interstate, where I've finally managed to get some clothes washed!

... didn't need a bag.......and....... was greeted with .... "Sir, we don't sell liquor on Sunday past 5.30pm"......I checked my watch, hoping that the officious and smug look on her face would be soon wiped by my vastly superior ability to tell the time.....6.05pm......Arrrgh!!

Quick.....what could I do, I replied "I'm not from around here......can you make an exception?" She glared or smiled....I couldn't tell which as by now everything ...

... te eten zijn. Het goede nieuws is dat je er zoveel van mag eten als je wilt'.

Het eten is dus een culinair dieptepunt, maar goed, je kunt niet alles hebben. Als troost gaan we naar de naastgelegen 'frozen yoghurt'-zaak, waar we ons tegoed doen aan een flinke bak calorie�n, mede om de smaak van het Chinese buffet weg te krijgen.

... along the main Mississippi river to the Nature reserve where the famous picture of the 'real' Bigfoot was taken! However, we were not in so much luck to meet him on our visit! We saw many more turtles and some water snakes, and even lucky enough to see a couple more alligators in baby form, with mother nearby. However, I couldn't get good pictures of these as they were deeper in the undergrowth!

After the swamp tour, it was time for us to head another one hour south to New ...
