... four months with friends, jobs, and fun at my school's television station are things I know I will be thinking about often. I hope this blog also helps me be able to keep friends and family updated on the fun things going on in my life, and then actually get to tell everyone in person when I return home in January.

The next time I'll be posting will probably be once I arrive in Madrid.

...Así que, por ahora, hasta luego!

... a week ago( the old one had melted) only to have it fail again when we went to a state park to dump out. They are coming back again on Tues and hopefully they have figured out the cause. We had a great week in RI. We spent most of the time with our son but did manage to spend some time with good friends as well. We even managed a few games of Mahjong. Hope everyone is ...

Delayed my departure until 0730 hours, after I went across the street from the motel to a gas station and asked if any of the truckers had just come north on I-95. One piped up and said yep, why? How's the fog, I ask. Thick as pea soup 'bout 30 minutes south. You are good to go, he says. So, off ...

We finished our last locks of the trip! Yahoo!
We stayed at the Troy public docks and walked the city area. It was hopping with many people beginning their weekend celebrations and lots of outdoor restaurants were full of diners enjoying the warm summer night.

The definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results. This is one of those days. It is not a bad day, but more of a very busy one. We have hit a leg of our tour where we are doing three in a row, day off, two in a row. Sleep is not really a priority at this point, more getting the show up, then out.

Yesterday was spent mainly in a hotel room. ...
