    ... general sounds of the boat whether under sail or motoring. The following pictures are from our St. Augustine to Ft. Pierce passage which was from 9:00 am yesterday to 9:00 a.m. this morning. We covered 175 miles with 10 knots of wind on our nose most of the way. The majority of time was spent running one engine plus full genoa (our forward sail, not our main) up.

    Deerfield beach - port st Lucie I woke up, feeling quite nice, had a decent sleep although it was only 5 hours short. We had osome cuban coffee, that is like an espresso but less strong and with loads of sugar in it.     ... tyre was a actually a HUGE manatee :D.....and man are those things big!!! So we wandered over and checked it out, and there were 2!! it was my lucky day, i got to see not 1 but 2 manatee! this 1 must've been about 10ft!!!! I'm not kidding it was massive, and the noses are completely out of proportion to the rest of their body lol. Bloody AWESOME :D.....ahhhh easily pleased lol.
