This week was my first one at the Manatee Center, the second part of my internship! I was sad to leave the Florida Coast Spring Training's staff because I enjoyed my time with them. I was a little bit sceptic about my new job at the Manatee Center because it was a new world for me. I didn't know so many things about the fishes, manatees and the Indian River Lagoon. Fortunately, the staff is very nice with me and they took me where I was! I learned a bunch of things during ...

Deerfield beach - port st Lucie I woke up, feeling quite nice, had a decent sleep although it was only 5 hours short. We had osome cuban coffee, that is like an espresso but less strong and with loads of sugar in it. We went for a walk to the pier on the beach and went for a ...

We went to Marco's Aunt's house by the sea (or was it a lake). It's a pity how I don't remember exactly where we went but the house was amazing inside-out. I love how the interior was very "international" ,for ...

... It was the merriest not-Christmas ever.

We carried on our motorboat ride another hour or so when Connor, who was steering, realized we would be able to sail. We set the jib and were able to enjoy some peace and quiet for another two hours - it was a welcome silence! But alas, the ICW is narrow and the wind was no longer cooperating, so the jib came in and the incessant noise of the engine resumed.

Not much else to report for ...
