    ... Aberdeen and came across a community garden block. Terrence Windle, next project for you and photo attached. This block would have been a couple of acres and so many individual garden plots, some nicely tended to and some not so!!

    Had the first NZ phone call at 4.30am this morning, thanks Sandy!!

    ... place was a dive! Only time I havent checked trip advisor and there were no good comments! Cancelled that room and now got a bed that we can sleep in and friendly staff!!

    Not such a good day today! lol Planning our accom for Inverness tomorrow and tha't's proving to be difficult as well. Note to oneself - do not travel in summer school holidays wth no bookings ...

    ... Lossiemouth, the first sandy beach I've seen here I believe. Then our drive continues through whisky-country with a stop at the Glenfiddich Distillery for a coffee -hold it!- and a very tasty whisky cake. An idea to keep in mind for some home cooking.     We started our week in Dornoch and it included more golf for Ron at Royal Dornoch (with Adrian Baggott); a distillery tour of Glenmorangie; more golf for Ron at Brora (with Liz); and a fairly long walk with Kara (oxfam trailwalk training)....she did two circuits of the walk between Golspie and Brora and back again.
