Finally got up at 7:30 am, checked the hotel menu price..wow an American style breakfast will set you back €30 (Can $48.00). No thanks, off to the Zeil again. This morning, we were awakened at 6 AM by the town alarm clock. We knew that the Schlosshotel Michelfeld was right next door to the church with the very tall steeple and big bell, but we didn't fully think through the implications of this. The bells started ringing at 6 AM. I expected them to stop at 6, then at 7, then at least at 24, but they kept right on ringing until every living creature within at least a 1 mile radius was awake.
