The hotel was very nice. I stayed in a room with a great view of the harbor and lake. The service was nice as well. Everything was close by so it was convenient. Also, the harbor is a good sightseeing place. So I would recommend the hotel to others.

We were able to make out the Ouachita River flowing into the Missouri River as we followed Hwy 30 to Texarkana. Our friend, the Red River, appeared on the LHS, and as we crossed this at Texarkana, we were back in Texas just on ...

... a not to sweaty walk. We went for ages, you don't realise how far your walking when you put the world to rights chatting at the same time. We had a brief argument about border collies whilst going round. A&M university have a mascot which I describe as a lassie dog. I know it's a collie but not sure what kind, I just know it's not a border collie as that's my dad's favourite dog. Taylor kept calling it a small border collie. So she had to ...
