The hotel was very nice. I stayed in a room with a great view of the harbor and lake. The service was nice as well. Everything was close by so it was convenient. Also, the harbor is a good sightseeing place. So I would recommend the hotel to others.

... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. Yep- gotta get a cholesterol check once we return ...

... From t-shirts, key-chains, postcards, engraved police badges, and much more there is something for everyone. I found the merchandise to be very fairly priced, of course, some merchandise was more expensive than others, however, it all depends on what you are looking to purchase. There were some stores where merchandise was fairly marked up when being compared to other shops. Each shop closes by 10 p.m., and are opened by noon. Most of ...

Generally I am a big proponent of slowing time down. I am not obsessed with trying to recapture my youth on live for eternity, it just seems like every year and every month is lived and chronicled as history quicker and quicker when I pause to reflect on where I'm at and where I have been. However, with my upcoming trip to Peru and Bolivia; I can't spin the hands of the clock fast ...

... called "Trevi's Restaurant". The food was awesome. It included one of the most tender mouth watering steaks I've ever eaten. Donna had the seafood and it was just as nice. We ended up sharing our dinners for a nice touch of surf and turf.

After dinner we enjoyed the gondola ride around lake Carolyn. This is a must. Our gondolier was ...

... the trampoline, play some baseball, hide and seek, and just get reaquainted. We were delighted they got on so well - it made the day that much more special. Brian and Sarah were generous in having all of us over for lunch, Texas barbecue style. It was fantastic :) ...
