... when he got the invitation to live there from the King who was a great admirer. He travelled there by mule over the Alps from Italy bringing a few bits and pieces, including the Mona Lisa with him. It hung in his bedroom for a while until they decided it would be better off in the Louvre. They had a marvellous exhibition of models made from his sketches showing what an incredible visionary he was. Machine gun, Glider, Tank, Paddle boat, Steam hammer, swing bridge, Gearbox, lifting ...

... hotel that does not open on Sunday. We took the car along to the depot and found that there was a box on the side of the building where keys could be left if the office was not open. We were just about to leave the car and keys when two men came out of the office - they were doing a bit of extra work and saw us and we were able to hand the keys over to them and they put the car away. Phew!!!!
Tomorrow morning we catch the train back to London.

So the journey begins!

... in the World Cup Rugby final.

We encountered a traffic jam as we entered Plymouth and the last few miles were at snail’s pace. We got to the hotel early so we left the car in the hotel carpark and walked into the centre of the city to collect the train tickets for our journey to London on Monday. On the way back from the railway station we found a pedestrian mall and shopping centre so stopped for a look. We also found the Plymouth Guild Hall and, next to it, ...

... and we are now on a 6 hour drive. We were staying at a hotel for the night called the southern sun, Lovely place nice pool and and an amazing buffet full of wonderful exotic food and great juice sorry got to go now bye. Mum had goat curry and ostrich steak salad. ...
