      ... It is unbelievable the houses that sit along this road, hanging off the cliffs with some of the front gates or garages just barely off the road and at night it would be harrowing with no street lights. We did stop at a few overlooks and the views were spectacular of the downtown area and canyon below. We didn't go the entire way as we decided to get off at one of the canyon roads and head to Griffith Park.

      ... movies, we pulled up at the kerb in time for the start of the game. HOORAY!!!!. This was a mega expensive evening. The hot chocolate kept our spirits up. The mega hot dogs at $7each were too too salty. DS rejected the sodium fix and asked for Maccas as a replacement dinner. 10 chicken nuggets later he was sated and settled down to enjoy the rest of the game.
