      ... It is unbelievable the houses that sit along this road, hanging off the cliffs with some of the front gates or garages just barely off the road and at night it would be harrowing with no street lights. We did stop at a few overlooks and the views were spectacular of the downtown area and canyon below. We didn't go the entire way as we decided to get off at one of the canyon roads and head to Griffith Park.

      ... tumbled out of the car in a hurry as Phil had to move the car. In the meantime Doug and I got a porter and put those bags on and then waited to see if there was more from Phil and Judy who had managed to secure a parking spot … nope, no more bags. Doug told the porter that was it from us and we gathered some of Phil and Judy’s carry-ons and said we’ wait inside the building for them while they parked their car – there was little or no shade outside.
