      ... It is unbelievable the houses that sit along this road, hanging off the cliffs with some of the front gates or garages just barely off the road and at night it would be harrowing with no street lights. We did stop at a few overlooks and the views were spectacular of the downtown area and canyon below. We didn't go the entire way as we decided to get off at one of the canyon roads and head to Griffith Park.

      ... that you can just use all day long like we did. We caught an old fashioned bus first, then we went on a steamboat, " the Mark Twain" , then a train a couple of times. We could have also used a fire truck and a horse and carriage if we wanted to, also we never had to wait long for any of them.
