The apartment is quite nice though. Furnished, heaps of storage, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, a main bed and also a foldout couch. We quickly managed to fill the space with all our stuff (so in terms of rooms, it has a living space, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom - that's all), but were too pooped to care by this point. Now it's just time to bop away to the lovely loud music being played at the bar next door. Peace out from Los Angeles xo.

The restaurant was called Maximiliano. It was a funky, industrial style restaurant with concrete floors, high ceilings and industrial lights. The place was packed but we managed to get a table. ... soak it in, however doing a museum with Ben can be super hard work. Because it does not involve regular breaks and lots of chatter, it means you have to look at EVERY SINGLE THING, so there's no time to sit down haha! So I can now say I've seen everything in the Getty Centre, and its quite a collection!! That evening we set off for another air bnb experience in San Diego, after going through a drive thru for an In'n'Out burger, a chain that everyone seems to love!

It is unbelievable the houses that sit along this road, hanging off the cliffs with some of the front gates or garages just barely off the road and at night it would be harrowing with no street lights. We did stop at a few overlooks and the views were spectacular of the downtown area and canyon below. We didn't go the entire way as we decided to get off at one of the canyon roads and head to Griffith Park.

Next stop was Venice Beach. About 10-15minutes drive along the coast we reached our destination. We wandered the strip which was bustling with street performers, black guys trying to sell you cd's and lots of skaters. We watched some street basketball which was entertaining ...
