    On October 1 we were staying in Angola, IN and visiting the surrounding areas. The main street of Angola was closed for traffic during a two week beautification project. When we were there they were planting shrubbery around a large statue in the middle of the traffic circle in the middle of town. It will be beautiful when they finish and I'm sure they hope it helps attract business. They were due to open the street traffic the following day so ...

    ... today, and took three breaks. This pushed our total drive time to almost eight hours. We were all ready for the day to be over by the time we pulled into Camp Turkeyville, the RV park where we will be spending tonight.     Just entered Indiana . Almost 9pm, going to stop to eat, after an ill fated attempt to get KFC at a rest area... Only to find out Sbarro took the space .... Poppy was very disappointed to say the least. So, back to good old Cracker Barrel... Maybe.... Running out of time ...

    ... Margharitaville home, though. Put it in my carry-on for safety against breakage not thinking it was larger than the allowable liquid limit. The lady at TSA was very nice and said to enjoy it once we got home and think of our vacation!

    ... stairs to the top and took seats in the front row! Gonna see this up close and personal! The cruise lasted about 1.5 hours and was very interesting and scenic. We didn't realize that Fort Lauderdale had this type of waterway system in place. We saw some huge and expensive mansions as well as huge and luxurious yachts.
