      ... was really fun, as we visited their sports club and played with their 3 kids. We also visited an orchard, completed a corn maze and had a huge turkey feast for Canadian Thanksgiving. It also seems that the American Thanksgiving is in November while Canada's is in October.

      We are going to stay one night in the campground I am blogging from now before heading off to the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. Sorry again about the delay!

      ... where Wild Bill was buried. Our bus driver was a good storyteller so we got a lot of local lore. Our tour bus company was owned by Kevin Cosner as was much of the town I think. Dave & Cheryl ate in his restaurant, Jake's, but we weren't there at the right time. It didn't open for lunch. From Deadwood we drove on to Mount Rushmore. How impressive!       ... population was very poor. Homes with broken windows or boarded windows, unkept yards littered with old cars which probably hadn't been started for years.
