From our accommodation there is a great running route that takes me on a steady decline to the beach where I enjoy the crashing waves and ambience for a bit before the uphill run back. Our bus from Allepy to Varkla was easy to spot as it was the one with all the foreigners queuing up to get on it and I was anxious we might not get a seat and it was a 3 hour journey. But we did get a seat and all the luggage was pilled up high at the front and back of the bus, keeping the aisle relatively clear. On the journey I noticed different coloured bunting around the villages we passed. I was informed that Silver/white bunting indicates christian ...
