... we were in a ghost town, and while there were a few factories within the walled city, it was quite well-preserved.

We did see a lot of fireworks going off (including over a petrol/gas station!) in celebration of a wedding, and noticed that many houses had hundreds of corn stacked on their roof, hanging from trees, in random piles, etc…we guess that given the frigid winter temperature, that this was just a way of storing it. ... gloves! It's extremely cold! I emailed ahead for a FREE pick up and expecting a car, I got an old man, his bike and a carriage attached, He looked at me and blew out his cheeks!

... cinese della localita' dove vogliamo andare all'autista e ci rilassiamo davanti a un meraviglioso panorama della durata di circa mezza giornata, intervallato naturalmente dalle solite obrobriose costruzioni cinesi (sembra che degli adulti si siano messi a giocare con i mattoni senza pensare, per il semplice gusto di costruire - i LEGO cinesi -penso.)
