Today we drove through the center of the park. We did a short trail walk in the afternoon and then headed to Clingman's dome (6643ft high) for sunset - around 5:30. There were snow banks on the sides of the road as we drove up to Clingman's dome trailhead. At times along the way, you would see little snowmen that people would have built. ... invited us over to their cabin for dinner. It will be hard to say our goodbyes after services today, but at least we will be prolonging the fellowship a little more by sharing dinner with friends.

I hope everyone has a wonderful LGD, a day that holds so much meaning and hope for us and our loved ones, and I wish everyone safe travels home tonight, tomorrow, and in the upcoming days. I look forward to seeing everyone again in our local congregation.
