Dear Mom, Bri, Mercedes, Spencer, HT and FT, Day One and Two: U.S./Beijing, China Saturday and Sunday 10/12 & 10/13 We are finally airborne. Our United flight from SFO TO PEK is a LONG 12 hour ride. We left at 11:50 am and will arrive "tomorrow" at 3:15pm. While waiting to board the plane, a screaming child reminded me that I forgot to pack one very important travel item: Earplugs. ... on would have easily meant waiting for over an hour just to ride back! Not a deal nor did we have the time. For the crowd-averse Tullys, we chose instead to stroll a short way and then ride another streetcar back to our area.
