After a brisk walk we were back at the car and on our way to the hotel. <br><br>Lake Tahoe looked like a very fun place to stay and it was a shame we didn't have more time to explore. There are lots of State Parks and if you pay for one it is valid in all for that day. It must be beautiful in winter with the snow on the mountains. I can only imagine, hopefully one day we will be back again for the ski season!

Oh my God it's beautiful here. And the weather is delicious. We arrived yesterday afternoon and did a little touring around. Went to a casino last night. Black Jack! This morning we headed up to Heavenly, took the cable car and did some hiking. Kind of rough for two people that live at sea level. 9500 ft up there. Tonight we're going back to the casino and are doing a brunch tomorrow followed by kayaking and a drive all around the lake.<br>
