But never mind- we loved being with the others on the coach and I especially loved Steph's (our guide) choice of love actually as the Christmas movie we got to watch along the way! We finally arrived at Horizon Hotel in Lake Tahoe where we would spend the next three nights. I am so looking forward to these few days in the snow! Boarding, ...

... were expecting big things. Despite no new snow in Lake Tahoe for the past few weeks, conditions remain remarkably good. We didn't find new powder off piste, however, we did manage to get the resorts almost to ourselves. Buying the ski pass daily, and driving to different mountains and resorts is typical US skiing and this allows more flexibility then Europe.
