Today we headed west on US Rt. 50 to Lake Tahoe and the scenic drives that surround the lake. To get there we had to climb the mountains to the west of us, the road was a 4 lane

... to Heavenly unsure of the quality and quantity of snow. Most of the lifts were open and the intermediate and main trails had good snow. Gary was a bit disappointed because there wasn't a lot of off piste action and most of the advanced stuff was closed.
