The end of the road
... after I posted that blog, of all the reasons why bungee jumping is a stupid sport and a stupid idea. Whiplash, strained back, stretched ankles, popped eye balls, the fact that at this very bungee spot, not even a year ago a young Australian girl jumped and had not only her main line but also her back up line snap, plunging her into the croc infested, fast flowing Zambezi River. While Tristan took her away for the day, we decorated the house and started making plans for the “travelling” pair (Roman and Fabyan) who were ...
Plans Go Pear Shaped
... again and headed south. Now, driving in Mozambique can be pretty tricky as we have discovered. Not only are there goats, chickens and the odd child which spontaneously runs onto the road without warning, but at night time there seems to be dozens and dozens of people walking around at the road edge, or worse on the road itself. Combine the fact that they are dark skinned, wear dark clothing and have no reflective gear on, it's amazing that more people aren't killed ...
