... floor. We were able to walk around in the rooms, and even touch things (like testing out the Lady’s bed for softness by pressing down on the featherbed mattress). It was fascinating.

We drove back to Betws-Y-Coed with enough time to walk around, eat, and change to go to Bounce Below - an underground trampoline park in an old slate mine!! We spent an hour jumping, sliding down trampoline netting tubes and climbing up trampoline netting ramps with a group ...

The day started a bit early in Cardiff , but despite the chill, the sky
was bright and clear. As we left Cardiff the mist and fog descended and
hung around most of the day not lifting until we approached

We had a week at the Isle of Man TT and also spent a weekend in Northern Island for the Ulster GP. MotoGP was at Silverstone and so were we. The event to round off our race watching experience was to see British Superbikes. We managed this at Oulton Park on the ...

Today we took a bus ride to tour one of the most intact castles in Europe, Caernarfon Castle. This was a lot of fun seeing just how massive everything was in the courtyard and how tiny the stairs and hallways were. I don't know how many stairs we walked, it seems we needed to go down and up and down again to get where we wanted to go. The stairs up one of the towers was particularly tight, but the view was worth every ...

... not see anything! The next peak hardly noticed was Moel Dywyll followed by another substantial climb to the summit of Moel Arthur the second Hillfort of the day. By now the weather had improved and we had substantial views over the Clwyd Valley and the Snowdon range of mountains to the west, the coast (!) to the north and Rural and industrial England to the east. We struggled up one more Hillfort Pennicloddiau and then made our way down to Glan ...
