I still haven't worked out what the beer swilling man with the pigs backside ( description from wikipedia) was doing on the choirstall, but it will have to remain one of life's little mysteries.

As a huge fan of Elvis' music (early leather jacket Elvis, not jumpsuit Elvis) it was a good little afternoon stroll listening to some great music, which was a nice way to finish up our time in Liverpool. We spent a couple of days with Margaret, Mick, Elizabeth and Holly (Robert's sister, brother-in-law, daughter and grand-daughter) in a cottage in a small village called LllanfairTalhaiarn, 5 miles south of Abergele. It’s on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park which is very picturesque and, as we had good weather, we saw it at its best.

... I have travelled to Oxford, Cleethorpes and Scotland to name just a few. Despite all my efforts, it will always be a challenge to see everyone so I take this opportunity to say farewell and good luck with the year ahead.
