wonderful to see Ali again and we were made welcome by her lovely
parents, Janthia and Roger. I could never hope to describe the
organisation that has been going on for the wedding, including the
three tiered wedding cake which Ali and her parents had made and
iced. After enjoying a home cooked dinner complete with more clotted

Stopped off at a small cafe for a light lunch and found our waitress was from Bideford and her niece was married to a New (Lona's Bideford family) in Northam.
After we left Ilfracoombe in bright warm sunshine we headed through Coombe Martin and wound our way back to Barnstable and home.

Valley of Rocks I was reminded of another holiday where we had a picnic on the slopes of Castle Rock watching the occasional vehicle pass or turn around to avoid the toll road at the roundabout below.
