My mom told the tour guide that it was my birthday so, the tour guide got the whole tour to sing happy birthday to me. It was super nice but, really embarrassing at the same time. Dunedin held an added bonus for us - it is the home of my second cousin, Liz, previously unmet by me but known to my family in the UK; our grandfathers were brothers. LIz's Grampy, Ronald Rose, emigrated to NZ at age 19, Liz believes just after WW1, and a branch of the family tree began to grow. ... is a whisper dish (see the photo) which the boys thought was pretty cool. After that we went to the supermarket for some food and then onto the caravan park. First task was to visit the dump station and empty out. Was my first time doing the toilet cassette thing and it was a bit of a job, but got there in the end and made sure I washed down with some disinfectant afterwards. Pooey!
