Then it was on to the nicest building in town - The Dunedin Railway station. It was magnificent and the tilework in the floor was great. It had designs of trains, telephone poles, passenger cars, etc. High above, stained glass window with train themes glowed in the early autumn light.

Nevertheless, the highlight for me is the visit to the Oasis Antique Shop. While the girls are mulling around the antiques, I find a whole section upstairs with stamp albums and sets of NZ stamps, all at 50% off.
