... but with hand-carved roasts and traditional British "Sunday dinner" dishes. They had roast turkey, ham, roast beef, steak and mushroom pie, Yorkshire puddings and gravy, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas (of course) carrots and cauliflower and the tiniest salad bar I have ever seen. It was pretty good stuff.

Moving north we drove up to Sutton Coldfield for lunch with Jean & John Topliss. They were both well & it was great to catch up again after a few years. ... and I sat with her while she played. Matt left just after 2.30pm to go and get his hair cut. I took Emma in the ball pit which she thought was good. She liked all the balls and tried to eat some but I didn’t think that was a good idea. It was a lot of fun watching her having a good time.
