... Vi packade bilen efter Olas morgonsamtal med Sverige och kom upp till lunch. Fler backar i systemet var öppna än tidigare och snökanonerna gick för fullt. På eftermiddagen hade vi möte med Team Breck och försökte förstå hur programmet, träningen och racen fungerar här. Vi forstod inte så mycket men bestämde oss för att det ordnar sig. Inte helt likt varken mig eller Ola, men en ganska skön inställning just nu.

Vid halv sex-tiden var det hemfärd och vi bestämde oss för att skippa en mysig middag på nån kvarterskrog i Breck, ja, med tre trötta ...

... br>down we passed lakes, waterfalls and had the most gorgeous scenery of snow-capped mountains. The first 10 miles were on a paved path where there was no motor vehicle traffic. The last 8 were a combination of road & the Gore Creek Path. If you do not have a free shuttle or driver to the top you can set up a tour with Charter Sports for $45.

... that wetted my palatte, however the rest of the group were salivating at the selection of seafood. My options came down to either a Cobb Salad or an Asian Chicken Salad. I was leaning towards the Cobb, mainly due to my relatively new obsession with Avocados, however my husband Curt convinced me to do the Asian. It was good...but I seriously think I would have enjoyed the avacados more!

This year we skied for two weeks and both spring skiing and some good snow. We skied Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, and Arapahoe Basin. One day Peter and Ron took the day off and went fly fishing with a guide in Silverthorne. It was cold and they caught one fish but they still had a good time. Mike and Laurie joined us for a couple of days which was great!

... will pass my last bike shop until nearly the end of my trip. Vicki is currently working admirably on finding out how I get me and gear back from the border crossing, along with my bike box which is 150 miles north. It does not help that the border crossing is in the middle of a very desolate desert.
