    ... the size of the town and the isolation of it. We drove out of town towards Mapoon in which we had to cross the longest single lane bridge in the Southern Hemisphere, it is 1.1 km long. There are two boat ramps I think one is just for normal use and Evans Landing is where bigger boats ( and smaller) and maybe charters leave from.     ... day yesterday partly because I wasn't feeling 100% , Brian took the opportunity to wash the car and gave the van a quick clean. Today we did the 1/2 day tour of the kalkani volcano and Lava tubes, the guide that did the tour -Greg - wasn't concerned how long it took should have been 8.30. - 1 pm , we got back at 1.45. He did not stop talking the whole time , very informative ...
