... round the second floor. We bumped into a big open air festival, tons of street stalls and music, even an open air cinema! We liked Perth right from the off. Our first full day was much the same as the night before, we walked from morning until night. It is our favourite because we can get there easily with one bus ride. We have somehow got a negative balance on our Smartrider cards so we decided to pay cash. The bus driver grumpily said that he did not have enough change for the A$20 note I offered but he let us travel ...

... going to open until 13:30. So much for a nice relaxing lunch in the lounge. Then the plane was delayed taking off because they had trouble closing the cargo hold. It was an older Boeing 767, definitely no lie flat pods.

By the time we landed in Perth after circling a couple of times, we were stuck in the taxi way as apparently there was lighting activities around the airport and the ground crew ...
