    Yesterday was another relaxing day at Newman, because of the rain the sightseeing spots were closed. But we did go down to the Purple Pub for lunch , which for Newman was really nice, with its fake grass etc , the inside of the hotel has been done up nicely and a great outdoor eating area with lots of shade sails and fans.     Well its time to go. We are at the Perth International, having breakfast at the Emirates Lounge before the long haul out. First stop is Dubai.     ... a memorial to two WW2 plane crashes. There are eleven timber buildings from 1941-2 near to the one remaining Bellman hangar. They are best termed 'tarmac buildings' as they were directly related to flying activities. This group of twelve WW2 buildings are under threat of demolition by the Shire of Cunderdin who wanted three demolished by March 1996 to construct an Indonesian flying training school.     Another beautiful day in Perth and the last one for Hannah in Australia. We drove into South Perth which is the flash part to live in as the houses and apartment buildings look across the Swan River to the city of Perth.
