The menu is light, mainly salads and quiche with wine by the carafe. We both have the Smoked salmon quiche with salad and a carafe of Rose. All is well with the world, a really lovely lunch in surely one of the best spots in Paris. What a bonus to have the Paris ‘soundtrack drifting from the bridge. Perfect!

There is a slight delay in the waiter taking our dessert order and we quite fancy ordering the same as the French ...

... rail to our terminal. The line up for Emirates check-in was extreme and Master X was keen on following around the military officers in the airport. Perhaps the machine guns don't bother him in the same way they do me.

I have to just say that this is the second time I have flown out of Charles de Gaulle Airport at night and it sucks! Nothing was open except for this dodgy little bar on the other side of the immigration checkpoint. Not exactly the last supper ...

We woke up this morning to a heavy rain in Paris, however, the internet forecast for Arras suggested that the rain there would be over late in the morning, with clearing in the afternoon. That was more than good enough for me. We managed to get out of the apartment by 9:45, for a 10:22 train. We arrived at Gare de Nord at 10:10, and managed to purchase our train tickets at a machine. Aujourd'hui, je me suis réveillé et a étudié pendant plusieurs heures pour notre examen. Quand il était temps de faire le test, je me sentais mal préparés et n'est pas prêt. L'examen était très difficile et j'ai pensé que je ne faisais pas bien. Déçu, j'ai quitté l'école et rentra chez lui pour déjeuner. J'ai étudié n'a plus de devoirs avant que je rencontre avec Kerry, Madison et Melissa au Musée d'Orsey. ...

... que legal..... saímos correndo de la para chamar a mulherada.... mas encontramos as ditas cujas somente quase meia hora depois.... contamos a novidade do wireless para elas e voltamos correndo para a Apple para fazer mais Skype com as crianças..... foi ótimo... ver a carinha de alegre deles não tem preco.... a do PAde também.... heheheh

Bem já eram 17hs e estávamos exaustos. Resolvemos voltar para o hotel para esticar ...
