... the right. It's not just a bit right... we're talking the right-hand edge of the green. Guy gets ready to offer comfort for the impending disaster. But no, the ball thuds into the bank, leaps into the air and rolls onto the green. Game, set and match! To celebrate her win, Hilli takes Guy to the a la carte restaurant at the hotel where we have a nice meal beside the (still) quiet pool area. Guy wins Grandma's which eases the pain a ...

... The palace isn't really a palace at all. It's more a beautifully designed retreat house, superbly grafted into the cliff-face with some stunning walled and terraced gardens extending on all sides and above/below the house. And you have to be very specific if you want a cup of coffee - you get espresso or it might be latte… maybe even a cappuccino. If you order tea, it could be PG Tips, or it might be Green Tea… Who can say? However they do have excellent ...

... settlement with castle and some Roman ruins but it's now mostly a nature reserve. It's probably most famous for the 40 virgins who tied their hair together and threw themselves off the cliffs rather than being ravaged by the invading Ottomans...

We have really enjoyed this bit of Bulgaria. The weather could have been kinder but in the summer this area could be a really nice holiday (if your a golfer!).
