Day 8 back on the road
We made it to Calvary Chapel Chattanooga's 11AM service and met Kevin and his sister Julie and scratched our heads a bit with pushing the Emotional Aide Dog scam at church. It somehow didn't seem like a good idea. It wasn't roasting out but it seemed like it might get a bit too hot to leave Ricky in the car so Julie, in an act of supreme kindness, offered to take care of Ricky while we went to church.

... strange. And the mall was massive. Before going in we ate at Johnny rockets. We had a really lovely burger and it was a traditional American fast food style bar. World of coke was another awesome day out. Just such a different thing to do and it was just a great cool atmosphere to be their. A real family feeling. We walked right into the lobby which had massive coke bottles designed all over the world. We then went into the loft, we were surrounded by coke artefacts from though out time which was special. ... that a large number of young men and women were brought out to the infield while military members lined the base paths. These men and women gave their oaths to join the Army in front of nearly 40,000 fans (of theirs as well as baseball). One final thing on the stadium, the giant Chik-Fil-A cow in left field that does the tomahawk chop ..... strange.

... not to like but I'll keep my kvetching to a minimum. However, Friday night was a precursor to the Saturday St. Patty's day festivities in Atlanta and I went out to dinner with a few old co-workers from my AT&T days (hey Anthony and Christine!).
Saturday I spent the day catching up on some work and publishing my Memphis and NOLA blog posts so clearly not much was accomplished.
On Sunday and my last full day in Atlanta ...
