    The Fifth Day (Denver)

... After a while it got too cold and we had some lunch in a cafe. There were some different things on the menu that I has never heard of, like onion rings and chilli cheese fries. On the way back we saw really big moose sitting among the trees. We came home for a little while and then Natalie, Dad and I got ready to go to Walmart to pick up a few things. After Walmart we had chicken and rice for dinner and went to bed after a long tiring ...

Arrived well on time for our flight to Tokyo departing on time 12:35 pm. The plane is very nice on the inside, the windows are larger and have adjustable tint. We will return the car in Fukuoka where we will spend one night and hope to visit Canal City with its many yatai (food stalls). Then on to Miyajima which we haven't visited yet and where we will stay 2 nights in a beautiful ryokan. From there back to Tokyo where we will have three days to catch our breath before flying back to ...

... lost it. On the Metro? The Bus? During the chaos at security? On the AeroTrain? No idea. I never heard anything fall to the ground. It’s baffling. But all I can do now is put it behind me and not let it ruin my trip. Hopefully I can find something similar tomorrow at DEN airport to purchase.

Anyway, moving along – we departed three minutes late at 10:22 p.m. and took off at 10:40. The time change to Denver is two hours backward, so it’s now 8:40 p.m. ...

... test run on Friday, through red rocks, and things were pretty good weight wise. So I ask the question..."How did we go from ~75 lbs to 130 lbs in under 48 hours?" In the case you are wondering, Sage (my 5 year old niece) is sleeping sound in her bed and is not curled up as a stowaway in one of the duffel bags.

Since I want to get some shut eye I am going to keep this brief. Packing list:
