... experience, rather then detract from it. After my experiences abroad, I feel that everyone should experience something like this at some point in their lives. For some, like myself, it is the only way to really appreciate where we are from. For others, it provides rich, vibrant memories that we carry with us indefinately. For all, traveling and seeing new places shows us how beautifully rich and differentiated our world really is.

Leave the house, get into our safe little transportation pod and get out once we've found a parking slot at our destination, go straight into the shop, do what we need, get out, in car, back home. This was my first day of the mission trip. From what I remember, it was mostly worship and hanging out for the night and getting ready for our assignments for the week. Since I don't remember much from it, I won't go into to daily detail. Every day though I went to a boys and girls club and hung out with kids all day. It was an amazing experience and helped fuel me to go on more mission trips.
