... Velo auf die Meiersalp gefahren und habe dort gecampt. Die Nacht war Sternenklar und die Temperaturen auch noch relativ hoch (ca. 5 Grad Celsius). Es wird deshalb bestimmt nicht meine letzte Testfahrt gewesen sein.

This trip has brought pretty much all what has to be experienced in a worldtrip. And it is eventually an example, that anybody can do anything, or can go anywhere, if one just believe in it.

Gossau, St. Gallen, Switzerland benannaOur next stop was St Gallen, home of a beautiful abbey with a medieval library and neighbouring by a charming Old Town. We walked around the abbey exterior before everyone went inside, with the exception of Lincoln and I. I have been here before and know it is a very ornate baroque design inside.

When we were almost out of time on the meter we made our way back to the car and continued east through Switzerland.
... did not dress up in traditional costumes. The tractors were not that old really just highly polished and well maintained diesels. The ferries come and go very quickly. As one left another came in and there were two docks so that is two in and two out plus two on the way. Maybe six or eight ferries plying the crossing continuously to Konstance. They only take about 40 cars at a time and to keep to schedule most of them left half full...or half empty...the glass of wine conundrum.
Meersburg, Germany briancToday we drove to Lindau, Germany, and did our own walking tour. Lindau is an island in the eastern part of Lake Constance. It was quite overcast, but still lovely. I'm sure that on a warm summer day it would be filled with people sitting in the sun and enjoying all the open air cafes.
