Next stop was another bar but before we arrived we decided to go via Manneken-Pis which is crazy popular, if not the main tourist attraction on all the lists. It's essentially a little statue fountain of a little boy peeing. Sometimes it's dressed up but it's one of the iconic things to see nevertheless. ... just how outrageously expensive Australia has become. Even Belgium seems cheap to me, whereas 15 years ago when I was here I am certain it was expensive!

Today, Mum and I wandered around whilst Dad sorted our washing out and chilled out in our rooftop pad. Bless him! It has been great to rest a little.

This evening we had dinner at LUX, out near the port areas and it was sensational. Enjoy the photos, tomorrow we are off to Brugges.

Middleheimmuseum, just outside Antwerp, has a beautiful park full of sculptures, with a good mix from old masters - including Rodin and Rubens - to more modern work like an installation with strings running from tree branches to a central pole with a small engine pulling and releasing the strings slowly, giving the strange impression of the strings breathing.
