... Amsterdam is the sex. There is a lot of sex toys and crude souvenir tshirts in the tourist spots, but we didn't actually get to the red light district. To be honest, we weren't sure exactly where it was- though we had a vague idea (probably the one part of the city we didn't wander to - typical!). I would have liked to see the red light district, but I've heard that it isn't particularly worth seeing, just sad girls in seedy brothel windows. There is a big fete being held ...

... liked at least! Although a lot of it was raw fish and biscuits, which turned Daniel off a bit. I tried some, even some herring, and it wasn't so bad. Plus they kept bringing beer. The most amazing thing of the day though was seeing a Dutch house, seeing how Wil and Bep operate and live, and realising just how much it was like Oma and Opa from what I remember growing up.
