More shopping today and general pottering. We needed to get Brooke assessed as her tonsillitis needs sorting out. There are numerous cafés and restaurants in Amsterdam, just like in Wellington, though a lot more steak houses, especially “Argentinian” ones. We went to the London Bridge just near the hotel, and had fish. We were more or less in synch with local time by then.

... doing everything on bicycles that people do in cars, we even witnessed bike rage! Bicycles are parked in large parkades and how they find them at the end of a day remains a mystery to us, especially if one stops in at a coffee shop! We saw such a broad assortment of bicycles, with the most popular being the Omafiet (grandmother bike) which is ridden by the most dashing of people.
