It wasn’t until after we had left Barcelona did I realize that two characters of The Shadow of the Wind took a tram to this quaint, hip part of Barcelona. ... for the flowers, rocks and structures around the park. It was definitely a neat place to see but very busy! I don't think my pictures do the park justice for it's 'Gaudiness'.....Antonio Gaudi's art/architecture led to the creation of the word gaudy in English! We persisted in the (shorter) line up at the bus stop after the park got top row seats in the open air and stayed on the bus and enjoyed the headphone commentary/history/local stories ...

We got to our hostel in Barcelona at about 6pm and we had our own room which was nice. People in Spain don't eat dinner until after 10pm but at 730pm we went down the street to a local restaurant and had sangria and tapas. The restaurant started to get busy at 10 which was weird because that was when we were leaving. After that we went back to the hostel and rested.
