What an amazing day we had at the winery yesterday! Juanjo was so welcoming. The 2 hour train ride went in a flash. Watching the scenery outside the train was very entertaining. To get there though was a mission. We got off the tube where Zarah though was the right spot, looked up and saw this huge ...

Also hopped off near Park Guell, a park designed by Gaudi originally built as a housing development but failed to sell. Apparently Gaudi lived in a house there. Didn't actually go in as the hill leading up was very steep and we were dog tired and hungry so we got waylaid at the pizza cafe half way up ...

... often quite big dwarves - a big dwarf is different to a small giant). This was her parade so she was due to lead it off. Although we've seen many of the ceremonial figures of Barcelona, Laia only come out for her festival so we hadn't seen her before.

The parade was due to pass through the short Passeig de Colon before exiting on to La Rambla and making a loop around to Placa de Sant Jaume for the finish, so when we noticed that everybody seemed ...
