... losertron wanted to drive me all the way to Tucacas right then, saying hotels in Valencia were all 200Bs per night. I suspected he was deceiving me to get an enormous taxi fare all the way to Tucacas so I demanded a hotel and we set off.

It wasn´t far but he charged a high rate (I forgot to negotiate before I got in again!) Hotel was about half the rate he said it would be, which is still expensive compared to what I´ve been paying. ...

... King and Macdonalds, but I just cant bring myself to firstly pay the stupid prices (9 usd for a big whopper) and secondly eat something that I wouldn't dream of eating in the UK, but there that's me. 'If you were suitably hungry you'd eat anything' is what I would have said to that, and it's true, so I couldn't have been. Finally we found a nice little place that sold fresh juices and 'real' food, so we settled down to eat.

... Not that the bus was a problem though, it was our stomachs... It appears we may have swallowed some river water during the rafting and the bugs just didn't agree with us. After a while it became apparent to both of us that Maracay was still a distant dream and we needed to make a plan, Quick. Luckily there was a toilet on board. Unluckily it was out of service with no running water, paper or lights. After several extended visits ...

OK we arrived here on a weekend , we got a couple hour bus , as it was a weekend it was full of youngsters, i know I'm not an old man but you know the annoying young ones (15-19) well the bus was full of them. There not too different too the young brats we have at home , loud a boozing away on the bus , at least i didn't understand a word they said.Oh and there was even one young one with the lovely kinda braided hair thing going on , with shades on. ...

We had a full day yesterday. The ECS meeting was good with good interest. Nice lunch at this hugest mall I have ever seen and then a cup of coffee. Later after supper we were off for a 1:45 hour ride across town to prayer meeting at Angel and Esperanza Mora's. We did stop for the bus tickets on the way. Today we have to leave at 9am for the bus station to get a 10:30 bus. Have ...
