    ... of day two found us sight seeing in Grants Pass, a city of 34,000 souls. Grants Pass is the county seat of Josephine County. Downtown retains its early 1900's flavor with its period two story brick buildings. Many harbor nice restaurants and local breweries. The Rogue River runs right through town of which the locals take full advantage.     ... ready for cooler temps as it will be close to 100 here in the Sierra foothills over the next few days. Only 80's in Nevada & Utah but cooler in evening.

    Left Moab Utah headed for the Lake Tahoe area. Spent one night in Elko NV at a very nice RV park that had a great grass lawn by our motorhome. Felt so good to put our feet in grass again.

    ... buy new trail shoes and some more gear. By 8pm we finally got back and booked into our hostel.
