... we had to go there. It was pretty fancy, though small by NJ standards. What was really nice was the lovely dinner we had while sitting outside in 80 degree weather listening to a live band play a concert (apparently this mall hosts concerts! Mall of Georgia: 1, Rockaway: 0!).
To say the least it was a nice evening where we were reminded how nice warm weather is. And of course, what relaxation feels like. Tomorrow....we go to America's largest aquarium!!! Stay tuned!
... than I expected: when I reached the top, I thought we still had a mile to go uphill. The views were amazing, and I took a short break before heading down the other side. The hike down was easier in terms of how much energy it took, but it was killer in the knees. It was a couple miles of steep, rocky trail, but at the end of it was Neel Gap and our cabin.

... recently got accepted to med school at Auburn, so it was cool talking with him about how he got there. We got to Stover Creek shelter (about 2.8 miles) around 4:30 in Monday and made some dinner.
