Been raining all day apparently and the thunderstorms knocked out the hotel internet. Off to the boat for the transfer to the hotel. Bit hard to see much with the rain and fading light. Got to the hotel around 8pm and got some tea and off to bed. Venice awaits tomorrow with hopefully the weather improving. (The porter was praying for us!). Photos next ...

I managed to pick myself up a mask and a few souvineers for other people! The gondola ride was next, and thoroughly entertaining! Our gondolier was extremely talented, a few of the others not so much hitting a few walls here and there. But I wasn't about to take the reins, it's definitely ...

... Basically they are buses of the waterways. While trying to figure out tickets and where to queue to get to Saint Mark’s Square. We met a British mother and daughter and we helped each other figure out where we should be. While waiting to catch the boat, the mother started to get very angry and yell. A Romani woman started to yell back and then left. Here the Romani woman put a scarf over her backpack and zipped it open! No wonder she was ******.

We didn't have a map, so ...
