    Got up about 8am to head to Venice. I didn't do the gondala last week thinking it would be included with topdeck but its an optional which means I had to buy it. Worked out cheaper than what the other guys did though so all is well. So after wandering around Venice and also getting a demonstration on how to make lace we went on the gondala.     ... the plague broke out. Doctors would put flowers in the nose, in hopes that they wouldn't be infected.

    Many of us bought masks at the markets, as well as more gelato, and some souvenirs. The sun was so hot, and we had lots of walking to do, so by the time we were home, we were glad.

In Venezia, someone must be selling fashion statement gumboots rather than the basic green but I have yet to see any! Slasher has done a google on high tides in Venice.
