ACEH!!! Bless you.
... a hotel to aim for in Banda Aceh (540km north), but I figured I’d wing it; expecting to arrive there in daylight.
The coach journey was ok, it left at 9.30am (only ½ an hour late) and I was sat near the front on an aisle seat. I say 'aisle’ but there were plastic stools in the aisle to accommodate extra passengers. To be fair the coach did its job, we stopped twice for food (not that I knew what was happening); so each time I troughed ...

Sunday 11th December 2011 – Pulau Weh > Banda Aceh > Medan

Saw many fish and a sea snake which was interesting but nothing like big turtles or rays or anything. Unfortunately ...
Tsunami
