Folks in Bergamo scoff at Brescia as an ugly city with little historical architecture. But Brescia does have its own claim to fame: the cheapest doner sandwiches in Italy. The city is so packed with cheap eateries catering to working class folks, they've had to lower their prices to compete with each other. And no city that offers me a 2 euro 50 cent meal can be all that bad!
