    Day 10 - Sunday, 14th September, 2014

It was only a short ride down to Parma from Brescia. We went through nice looking villages where it appeared that all the locals had come out to meet in the town or village Piazza's or squares.

I tip him generously ...

As timeless as this place feels, there are changes. A number of African and Arab immigrants relax in the park--including a couple young black fellows, hanging out with a couple of Italian girls. ...

Day 244 4 hrs, 7.4 kms I continue on down the tracks, hopping off in Piadena to get a feel for a third town in Cremona Province. Piadena has two long streets lined with buildings forming a single wall, interrupted by an occasional large gateway leading to a family compound--a style became very familiar with in the Napoli region down south. Kind of a very quick tour of Cremona Province... but I decide to go ahead and continue on to the next ...
