The day at cos began at bodrum at 2-4am with mild food poisoning or something for me. We headed across to Greece on a boat and in 40 minutes we had arrived and got our third stamp this trip. Wondering where we were going to leave our bags and sit for 9 hours we were approached by a fat Greek lady on a Vespa. Two minutes later I was behind an old guy on one Vespa with two bags and Jen was on the other behind the girl with ...

... in at a small restaurant called Mike's Place. Mike's Place was not where the tour leader was taking us. We just thought that if we went where everyone else went we would not get the best service. Mikes place is the first restaurant we saw, it was on the water, & Mike was such a fun guy we just had to stop The service was excellent, the food was good, and we met the nicest couple from England who had been coming to the island for 30 years ...

They are jammed packed with people. We have only 10 people on our boat. There is plenty of room to lounge around, and ...

... weren't really in an ancient ruins mood so hustled through pretty quick and out the other side into an amazing food market. It was set up for tourists but there were so few people around that it didn't feel touristy at all. Everything looked amazing from the honey (they were famous for honey) oil, spices, nougat. Actually pretty gutted we weren't able to buy much to take since we still had to trip through Turkey and really limited bag space before we left ...

... the feeling, and thankfully if anyone understands the frustration of not being able to exercise, it's them. So I felt better, even though I also felt like a whiner.

We headed to the marina to dock for the next two nights. Kos is a lively island with lots of activity, and the adults decided to head to town after dinner on the boat. We found a cute bar, enjoyed some cocktails and great conversation. It was nice to have grown-up ...
