... to many close friends waiving and ready to donate. It was a great night reuniting with old high school friends, family and many many others. On to NYC Thursday to support my son and his buddy's fundraiser at Fiddlesticks in Greenwich Village 5-9pm. Leaving Purple Haze in Durham to rest.

... girl, Sophia, who met Lincoln for the first time today. They were so cute together. I know they'll both be walking and causing trouble by the end of the summer.

It was a great last full day of our vacation. We are very sad for it to end tomorrow. We plan to take our time packing up to head home. Back to the grind on Monday.

... s Seafood. The establishment was a "happening" as it was packed and sat right on a canal. Carolyn was in heaven as she had steamers and I had a blackened swordfish sandwich.

By 4 pm we headed to the Quality Inn in Old Saybrook where we would be spending the night.

As neither one of us was particularly hungry, we had a light dinner at The Penny Lane Pub. At 9:30 pm we were back in our hotel room.
