    ... and staying overnight in a town called Princess Anne (West of Ocean city),in Maryland and still daylight.
    A particularly green State, dotted with corn fields since leaving the ferry.

    I put only a small selection of "lovely old lady homes" in the blog - there are a few more just on the slideshow, that I could not resist leaving out.

    ... was horrific. The traffic was congested and we altered our route to get off route 30. Luckily we had our audio book and learned more about the War of 1812.

    It's been about 10 years since I last visited my aunt Heather and uncle Roger in Cape May. I arrived just before the start of the tourist season, so it was nice and quiet (but a little chillier than any of us liked!).     I left you last week in London, Kentucky. We drove on the Monday morning towards the state of West Virginia. The scenery has changed from the humidity and palm trees to a more enjoyable kind of warmth and fluffy green trees. We stayed overnight in a little town called Princeton.
