    ... the cold. I had put in on over my riding t-shirt.

    I topped up my tank and then had a bowl of chili, all stalling tactics to let it warm up some more. Finally I left the town around 1300h, and rode for about 15 minutes only to find it wasn't quite enough, I stopped at an abandoned garage to put on another shirt, that finally did the trick!

    Highway 3 winds its way into Great Falls then it is I-15 northbound, there is no shortage of Alberta license ...

    ... and Nancy picked me up for a shopping trip to Ikea so Nancy could get a few items for the "kids' " apartment. IKEA here is just like the one in Toronto with too many shoppers and the aroma of cinnamon buns. From there we stopped at Tutti Frutti for a little yogurt and toppings before heading downtown to see the Saddledome. Next we parked near Prince's Island where we could watch the rafts floating down the river and admire the ...

    ... it's an automated awning and no amount of switch flipping would make it retract...the motor was running, but it just wouldn't retract... So, now what! Can't drive like that! The plan was to have Ron and I go up on the roof of the RV and pull the awning up with ropes while Josh rolled the awning from on top of the ladder that Melody was holding and while Bronwyn flew a kite. All very interesting and, I'm sure, entertaining to anyone ...
