The day after we got home, we cleaned up the motorhome (many of the compartments were wet again, from the storm that we had driven through...cleared out the inside of all our clothes and stuff, did laundry, cleaned the car, the car cover, the canoe and put the motorhome back in its parking spot. Whew! Armed with our list of things to be fixed, Ron called the dealership and was told that ...

We packed up this morning along with Three other motorhomes and were on the road by 10. An uneventful drive home, which after last year, is a good thing. We got home around 7 and had the whole thing unpacked and laundry going by 7:30om. So now that we have done two trips, we are ready to head to California in 10 days. ... feel great after a year without!

I passed through customs in about 30 seconds with maybe 3 questions, I always kinda giggle when they ask about weapons, I think it is just so far outside of my psyche to own, or to be carrying a firearm, but not to those 'mericans.

It was my plan to drive to Fort MacLeod at the least and after leaving the border I was pleased to find that Canada had conveniently arranged a tail wind for my Welcome Home. I pulled into ...

... and Nancy picked me up for a shopping trip to Ikea so Nancy could get a few items for the "kids' " apartment. IKEA here is just like the one in Toronto with too many shoppers and the aroma of cinnamon buns. From there we stopped at Tutti Frutti for a little yogurt and toppings before heading downtown to see the Saddledome. Next we parked near Prince's Island where we could watch the rafts floating down the river and admire the ...
