It was a challenge, but I think we got 'er done! Thanks to some helpful hints from fellow travelers (and the internet!) we were able to fit clothes for both of us for at least 7 days on the road. We've got about 12 1-gallon Ziploc bags each with a shirt, underwear, and socks for each of us, plus a spare pair of shoes and jeans. That's it.
We're set up only a couple of miles away from Carson & Barnes so our two circuses challenged each other to a soccer match. It turned out to be quite a momentous game because not only did a couple of quick, but severe storms blow through that ...
It's our last weekend here in Chicago before going home. We enjoyed the Saturday night service at Harvest Rolling Meadows and Sunday morning at Elgin. It was also Mothers Day! I was taken out for lunch to a Sushi Train. Delicious! After a very restful afternoon Peter took me (Lisa) out for dinner. We went to a great Mexican restaurant. The food was excellent - so fresh and tasty. Monday evening we were invited to a young couple's place for dinner who we also met while in Israel. ...
