    ... and quickly surveyed the mall. Plotting a route which avoided tollways, we made the short but winding trek to Janesville, WI. We arrived on schedule to the Kyukido Academy just in time to change and stretch before the 1:30 class. Head Master Holden's class was fun, challenging, and just the thing to work out our vacation kinks.     Good coffee. The hotel failed to have any so we determined to find some before getting on the road again. One Starbucks stop later, the adults fully caffeinated and the young ones engaged in their books on tape, we set off to stare at miles of pavement. But instead of concrete and steel, framing much of the road were trees that just beginning to don the beautiful colors of the fall season. Priceline.com ...

    As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

    Just a short note today! Bob and I are celebrating the gratitude that we have for each other, for family (biological and chosen!), for faith, for friends, and for health. We have so very much to be thankful for that our hearts are overflowing!

    It has been two weeks since my surgery. I'm now able to be downstairs all day! My routine seems to be that I get up, shower, and get dressed on my own. Bob, my angel, brings me nice, strong ...
