        The city itself is very clean even though it is so crowded. There are few places to park a car so most people walk, ride a bike, take a taxi or take the "El". The cab drivers here are not as crazy as they are in New York City, but some of them are in training I think.

        ... smooth check-in etc at the huge O'Hare (Chicago) airport. We were all sad to see him go but also very grateful that he was able to have the 3 weeks with us.         We stayed overnight in a Walmart parking lot (we called ahead this time and we were rewarded with a manager who said we could probably stay there, as long as it was only one night) and thankfully it had cooled down quite a bit, so we just opened the windows and enjoyed the fresh air.
